What does Craig Newmark (of craigslist) have to do with journalism of “the link economy?” I think one of the effects of proclaiming there is a “the link economy” is that it divides the world into those who have an innate understanding of the web and those who don’t; those who “get” it have an inherent benevolence and natural ability to explain how the web works to those who don’t get it.
